LAIA 2018 and home boarding

Home boarding is still a licensed activity.

If you look after other people's dogs in your home for payment, you need a licence from your local council under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018. That licence requires the same written documentation as a commercial kennel — an emergency plan, a disease control procedure, a cleaning procedure and more.
