StarReady is a software service that generates compliance documentation to support your application for an animal activity licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 (LAIA 2018).
Documents are generated based on information you provide and validated against DEFRA statutory guidance. StarReady is not a legal service and does not guarantee that your application will be approved or that your premises will pass inspection.
You are responsible for:
StarReady is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Your 14-day free trial begins on the date you subscribe. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. After the trial period, your chosen plan will be charged monthly.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Payments are processed by Stripe. StarReady does not store your payment details.
StarReady provides documentation support only. We are not liable for any licensing decisions made by your local authority, any failed inspections, any penalties or enforcement action, or any loss arising from reliance on generated documents.
Our total liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 3 months prior to the claim.
We may update these terms or change the service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of StarReady after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
